Hope Estate Shiraz Basalt Block 2013

Pepper and spice, with some blackberry undertones and cedary oak. A smooth, juicy palate of intense berry fruits, spicy plums, and an underlying earthy savoriness. Balanced acidity along with integrated vanillin oak and soft silky tannins give the wine great mouth-feel and length.

Sass Pinot Noir 2014

A big wine, yet still elegant and nuanced. Dark fruit (blackberry, black cherry) notes with elegant red-cherry brightness; white pepper spice and truffly earth underneath; fine tannin, silky texture, lingering finish.

William Hill Chardonnay 2015

William Hill Estate North Coast Chardonnay offers aromas and flavors of ripe tree fruit, underscored by hints of brown spice, citrus and tropical fruit. Hailing mostly from Sonoma and Solano, this well-integrated wine has excellent acidity and a creamy mouthfeel.

Cyprus Sauvignon Blanc 2015

California wine with floral notes and hints of grapefruit acidity.  Light and crisp and makes the perfect wine for summer!

La Croix Peyrassol 2015

The name of the estate is the first indication of its long, illustrious past. Located in the heart of Provence, near routes traveled by Crusaders in the early Middle Ages, the Commanderie de Peyrassol was founded by the Knights of Templar who were dedicated to protecting the Crusaders en route to, and in, the Holy Land. The first recorded harvest took place in 1256 and winemaking has continued uninterrupted throughout the centuries. This cuvée is crafted specifically for presentation in the United States and is the result of a close collaboration between Rosenthal Wine Merchants and the team at Peyrassol. The blend varies depending on the particular conditions of the vintage but normally is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah in varying proportions. It highlights the fresh wild berry fruits of the region married to a firm minerality that provides structure and discipline to the wine.

Cavallotto Langhe Nebbiolo 2014

This Nebbiolo comes from Barolo vineyards, generally from the youngest vines. Excellent structure with aromas typical of the Bricco Boschis: Red fruits and flowers, with spices, all open and intense. Excellent aging potential. This wine finds its best matches at the table, with appetizers of sliced meats such as prosciutto or salami; also Alba beef tartare and vitello tonnato. The wine is also good with pasta, simple red meat dishes in general, or with seasoned cheeses.

R. Lopez de Heredia Rioja Vina Tondonia Reserva 2004

94 points Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

“The 2004 Viña Tondonia Reserva is a completely different story. It is a worthy follower of the 2001, the greatest of the Viña Tondonia Reservas of recent times. It has the usual blend and usual levels of alcohol and acidity, bottled after six years in oak barrels. The nose feels savory (if that’s possible–umami?) and developed, with tertiary aromas and good balance between spices, leathery notes, cherries and balsamic notes of cigar box and incense. The palate is both round and crisp, with refined tannins. It has very good balance with subtle acidity and very good persistence.”

Ross Andrew Cabernet 2010

The expanding Woodinville winemaker sourced from three of Washington state’s top Cabernet Sauvignon sites for this blend of Ciel du Cheval, Klipsun and Alder Ridge vineyards. A gentle use of oak shows in this classic Cab with aromas of ripe black cherry and cassis, followed by huckleberry, dusty minerality and Earl Grey tea. Dark red fruit flavors emerge with currant, cherry and dried strawberry, backed by soft tannins, and finished with cinnamon powder and cedar.   Price: $32.99
